Baker City Cycling Classic, Check!

Another year, another pilgrimage to Baker City, Oregon, to contest the now named Baker City Cycling Classic. Same race, same pain, new name. You can find evidence that will stand up in court right here.

We brought a fairly full contingent of both men and women to contest the affair, and came away with a bevy of good results. Chief among them was Stephanie Croy‘s overall GC WIN the Cat 3 women’s race, while winning both the road race stages as well as the crit (upgrade!). Highlights include Trevor Spahr’s 2nd place in the TT stage, as well as Anna Christiansen’s 2nd place on the Mt. Dooley stage and 3rd in the crit in the W1/2, (4th overall), Alana Armstrong’s 2nd place on Mt Dooley and the crit and the TT in the W4′s, as well as great results all around from McCoy, Davis (1oth overall Cat 3), Anderson, Sanders, Clark, Weaver, Crouch, Pressey, and Whitley. Huzzah, as Yode might say. Clutch support from Alex Schultz made the weekend possible as well.

Other highlights include Wesley Willis, Walter, Baker Biscuits (extra butter), Erhmagerd, coca cola, Melanie, heat, sun, and ass whippings. And ass showing. And boobs. That about sums up the stage racing experience as best as possible.

On to the St. Honore Criterium this weekend! And Happy 4th to all! Merkuh!

one day my ship will come in
