Baker City, Ho!

Well, we’re off to Baker City with full men’s and women’s teams to RACE our bicycles in a bike RACE.

The mighty Baker City Classic (nee Elkhorn) looms ahead of us, so wish us luck in getting this feat accomplished. At least we stand a chance.

Up On The Sun

Well, well, well.

Our Brie has come home all covered in green Nature Valley Best Amateur jerseyness. Well done! No small feat and bodes extremely well for our gal. We congratulate her, as well as the entire Nature Valley team (both men’s and women’s) for their considerable accomplishment.

To celebrate, we point our bikes upward.

Baker City looms….

In The Garden Of Your Mind

If you plant the seed, it will grow. Open, listen, read. Let’s give the fish some food….

So, our Brianna Walle managed to make a little noise over at the Nature Valley Grand Prix, and even ended up with a little press out of the deal. She’s in for the pain cave as the days go on against the best in the country, so we wish her well as she valiantly continues. Well done on the early success, and enjoy every excellent moment in the amateur leader’s jersey! A great feat for all of us in OBRA. Keep rocking it, Brianna! Yeah!

I suppose it goes to show the excellence of our governing racing organization, as it allows riders to come to, grow in, and excel at – our sport. We’re all lucky to be here.

In last night’s Tuesday night showdown, our Ryan Smith slotted in 6th in the 3/4, and we had Trayvon Slim score a fine 12th with Crawfy, Shaun, and Dizzy helping out in the 1/2/3.

In other cycling news, seems one once thought a hero is now wallowing at the precipice of inevitable shattering disgrace.

Live by the sword, die by the sword.

Finding Lost Lake

Funny thing is, we never found it.

And you, yes, you, the Pro 1/2 women’s peloton, you’re very welcome for our emergency feed team deployment excellence. Otherwise you all would have perished.

Congrats to Joel Crouch for a tough finish out there, and thanks to Cristina for feeding him (and congrats for her win in the women’s open at PIR last night!)

Brie is doing fine in Wisconsin, we’ll get more NVGP updates out as they trickle in.

Weekly Update

Let’s see….clearing all the empty bottles and carved limes out of the way, stretching the ol’ fingers, and here we go.

We got Dave Dezellum 2nd place at the Hammer Velo crit this past Saturday in the Masters, with Crawfy scoring a top ten in the Senior men field. Ironically, there was some offhand heckling by none other than Sketchy and Sketchier themselves….when they end up in the hospital  because neither of them can handle their bikes, we’ll reserve the heckling.

We put Brianna Walle on an airplane this week to go race the Nature Valley Gran Prix – be sure to follow along.

We put Joel Crouch in a van and send him to the Mt. Hood Cycling Classic this week, too.

We raced PIR on Tuesday and did pretty good in the 1/2/3 as well as the 3/4.

We raced PIR on Monday, too, and our ladies and old farts had some good practice.

We partied our balls off last night, and everyone went to work hungover today. Some of us went to work smelling like strippers, not naming names.

Tonight, a few of us are out at Tabor, going around in uphill circles, taking the proverbial ball peen hammer to the balls. Morons.

Greg Sanders makes the best margaritas in the world. Period.

Click on the image square bottom right, and see pictures from the Oregon Stampede, where we sent a pile of riders to go fuck off on a bunch of gravel.
